All of the staff at the Atlantic Cat Hospital have a deep and abiding love of cats, understanding their unique needs. Ongoing continuing education helps staff to meet those needs. Gina completed a special Dentistry course in May of 2012 to fine-tune her skills in caring for your feline friend’s oral health.

- Veterinary Assistant (Part Time)
Tanisha graduated from The Centre for Health Studies in 2013 and joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in 2014. Tanisha plays many vital roles in the hospital and gives much needed support to the whole team. Whether she is taking care of healthy felines, nursing a sick patient, or monitoring patients under anesthesia, everyone benefits from her great attitude and exceptional skills.
Samantha grew up in the country; Falmouth, NS and has always had a love for animals. She studied to become a Veterinary Technician at Maritime Business College where she graduated in August 2016, only one month later she became a great addition to the ACH family.
Sam can be found in surgery, treating patients, recovering surgical and sick patients, as well she often uses the microscope to help the Veterinarian diagnose sick kitties. As an RVT Sam has many roles and she is a vital part of patient care in the clinic.
When Sam has spare time she likes to spend it playing hockey, running and the majority of it with her family, mostly in an outdoor setting. Her family consists of her daughter Alexis, partner Dennis, dog Bella and three sister cats named Dakota, Moo and Sookie.

Gina is a Registered Veterinary Technician who completed her Animal Health Technology diploma at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. She has been a part of the ACH team since July 1999.
